Analytix is set for another prominent display at Lab Innovations 2016, where it will demonstrate its expertise in mercury analyser and gas analyser systems.

The Agilent 490 micro gas analyser will be on display, designed from the ground up for a range of industrial process analysis applications. The Agilent 490 comes in a range of models, from a portable system, and includes the 490-PRO system which allows for unattended, round-the-clock measurements.

Applications include natural gas analysis/calorific value determination, biogas, bulk and trace analysis of refinery gas, stack emission monitoring, trace analysis of sulphur, oxygenates, halogenates, fuel cell development, specialty gas production, and trace analysis of H2S.

Meanwhile, the Milestone DMA-1 and DMA-80 Mercury Analysers, available exclusively in the UK via Analytix, allow routine, and easy, identification of mercury in difficult sample matrices.

Both systems can effortlessly analyse liquid and solid samples without sample digestion or wet chemistry pre-treatment steps, and without any waste disposal.

Sample analysis is performed in five minutes with both systems, while the DMA-80 allows for automatic sampling, processing up to 40 samples automatically in under four hours.
